Alex & Kayla | Engagement | Ayr, Ontario

If I'm completely honest, the winter days in Ontario can either be breathtakingly beautiful or utterly depressing. When the elements do cooperate, the skies can turn a brilliant hue of blue, and the golden sun creates a natural lightbox as it reflects off the snow. Fortunately, it was a beautiful sunny, albeit crisp, winter day in Ayr, Ontario this weekend for Alex and Kayla's awesome engagement session. We had lots of fun getting to know one another as we hiked across a farmer's field, dodged a few cars and cleared a forest to take advantage of the magical rays of light.  I'm really excited about photographing Alex and Kayla's upcoming wedding at THEMUSEUM in Kitchener this September.
