I met Alana a few years ago while working for a school board, just before I decided to pursue photography full time. With her positive energy, kind demeanour, and wicked sense of humour (in addition to our mutual love for Michael Bublé ; ), it was no surprise that we connected immediately. When Alana told me that she and her partner, Matt, were getting married, and that they wanted me to document their special day, I was thrilled. It really is an honour to photograph such an important life event for a friend!

For the engagement photos, we traveled to Galt, a unique area of Cambridge, Ontario that features many heritage stone buildings, quaint coffee shops and boutiques along the Grand River. There were plenty of beautiful backdrops and architectural features in the area to incorporate into the photos. The weather was a bit precarious, but that didn't stop us from having a few laughs along the way. Alana and Matt were so easy to photograph and such a delight.
